Meet Kyra

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

I’m a Chicago native – born and raised.  I lived in Atlanta, Ga before moving to Arkansas and calling it home for over thirteen years now. Although I miss the big city, I have learned to love the beauty of the south.

I am married to a God-fearing husband-man and am a blessed mommy to three fantastic girls spanning ages 10 to 18 – so there is never a dull moment in our home.  They are my greatest inspiration and the main reason that I started photography because I know how fleeting childhood is, how busy life gets, and how we need those reminders of all the precious moments.

I love DIY projects, specifically those that involve wood working.  I do all sorts of projects from making wood signs to decals for mugs and glasses, but my favorite projects to date are my custom made t-shirts!

I am a lover of cold weather, horror movies, and PEPSI.  I enjoy music, love to dance, and am currently in love with Bruno Mars.  I’m hooked on This is Us, the Golden Girls, Good Times, Forensic Files, anything on the Chiller channel, and I binge watch the new season of Orange is the New Black one second after it’s released.

I take my work seriously and I’m always professional, but I like to have fun during sessions. I love capturing all aspects of family connections and the more casual and real you are the better.  After all life isn’t about perfection, it’s about the love, the laughter, the family.  My goal is to capture the beauty in real life and your family as it is now, so that when you look back at your photographs you will experience the emotions again right down to your core.

Thank you for stopping by.  I would love the opportunity to get to know you more and to become part of your life by capturing your biggest, littlest, and most precious moments.

xoxo – Kyra
